Changing your Browser Home Page

Question: How do I change my home page?

Answer:How you change your home page depends on which browser you are using. In each case the simplest way to change your home page is to first navigate to the page that you want to use as your home page and then follow the instructions for your browser as below.

Internet Explorer

Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu. On the "General" page press the "Use Current" button.

Firefox

Select "Options" from the "Tool" menu then on the "Main" tab press the "Use Current Pages" button.

Chrome

Select "Settings" from the menu (right hand end of the address bar) and then in the "Startup" section select "Open a specific page or set of pages". Click on the "set pages" link to specify the page or pages.

Opera 15+

Select "Settings" from the menu (top left corner) and then in the "Startup" section select "Open a specific page or set of pages". Click on the "set pages" link to specify the page or pages.

Opera 9 through 12

Select "Preferences" from the "Tool" menu then on the "General" tab press the "Use Current" button.

Safari

Select "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu then on the "General" tab press the "Set to Current Page" button.

Netscape

Select "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu then on the "Navigator" page press the "Use Current Page" button.

Opera 7/8

Select "Set Home Page" from the "Navigation" Menu, Select "Set current page as home page" and press "OK".

Opera 5/6

Select and copy the content of the address bar. "Set Home Page" from the "Navigation" Menu. Paste the selected content and press "OK".
