Changing IE Home Page
Question: I want to know how to change the address of the home page if it is inactive in internet options.
George Wekfy
Answer: To fix this you need to edit the registry. From the Start menu select Run and then type Regedit and select OK.
The keys that you want to find are HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer. If either of these folders in the registry contains a Restricted or Control Panel sub-folder then you need to delete that sub-folder. This should re-enable the buttons on the Internet Explorer properties page allowing you to change your home page.
