Remove Unlisted Program
Question:How do i remove a program which is not listed in the Add/Remove software list?

Answer: To uninstall a program not listed in Add/Remove programs:
- If it is a windows component then check under the "Windows Setup" tab in Add/Remove programs. Many people forget to look there.
- Check the options that are installed in the Start menu for the program. Often there is an uninstall option placed there that can be used to do the uninstall. If not then check the folder where the program is installed and see if there is an uninstall option there.
- You might try reinstalling the program over itself. Often when a program has problems the uninstall option can disappear or fail to work properly. Reinstalling the program might just create the uninstall option that you are looking for.
- If you can't find an uninstall option anywhere then you should consider obtaining a program that can attempt to uninstall other programs for you. Some programs that can do this include: Advanced Uninstaller Pro, Add/Remove Plus,Your Uninstaller, Magic Utilities, Norton Cleansweep, and many others. Using one of these programs to try to uninstall your program is much more likely to remove everything associated with the program than just deleting it would as that would leave behind all of the registry entries and system files.
