Wordperfect Keyboard Shortcuts

The following is a list of some of the actions that can be performed in Wordperfect by pressing the appropriate combination of keys on your keyboard. When you are busy typing your document you can achieve the same result a lot quicker using these keyboard shortcuts than you can using the mouse.

Alt + Page Downmoves the insertion point to the next page
Alt + Page Upmoves the insertion point to the previous page
Backspacedeletes the character to the left
Ctrl + -inserts a hard hyphen
Ctrl + Backspacedeletes the current word
Ctrl + Ccopy text to the clipboard
Ctrl + Deletedeletes to the end of the line
Ctrl + Endmoves the insertion point to the end of the document
Ctrl + Enterinserts a hard page break
Ctrl + F6moves the insertion point to the next document
Ctrl + F6moves the insertion point to the next window
Ctrl + Gmoves the insertion point to the specified page
Ctrl + Homemoves the insertion point to the start of the document
Ctrl + Kconvert case of selected text
Ctrl + Left Arrowmoves the insertion point to the previous word
Ctrl + Right Arrowmoves the insertion point to the next word
Ctrl + Shift + -inserts a soft hyphen
Ctrl + Shift + Deletedeletes to the bottom of the page
Ctrl + Shift + F6moves the insertion point to the previous document
Ctrl + Shift + F6moves the insertion point to the previous window
Ctrl + Spaceinserts a hard Space
Ctrl + Vpaste text from the clipboard
Ctrl + Xcut text to the clipboard
Deletedeletes the current character
Down Arrowmoves the insertion point to the next line
Enterinserts a hard return (paragraph)
Esccancel
F6moves the insertion point to the next pane
Homemoves the insertion point to the beginning of a line
Insertswap between insert and typeover mode
Left Arrowmoves the insertion point to the previous character
Page Downmoves the insertion point to the bottom of the screen
Right Arrowmoves the insertion point to the next character
Shift + F6moves the insertion point to the previous pane
Shift + Tabinserts a back tab
Up Arrowmoves the insertion point to the previous line
