Opening Wordperfect Files
Question: How can I open and edit a .QPW (Word Perfect 9) file?

Answer: To open a Wordperfect file you either need to use Wordperfect or another word processing program that recognises Wordperfect files. Some word processing programs may not be able to open the file via the open option but may be able to access the file via an import option instead that will convert the Wordperfect file into the format used by that word processor.
