Deleting a GDG
Question: Is it possible to delete a GDG base alone, when there exists versions under it ?

Answer: To delete a GDG base you would just run an idcams step and use the delete command. This will delete all generations within the GDG so you will want to remove the datasets from the GDG first either by renaming them or altering the number of generations in the GDG.
