Question: How can two hardrives be used so they work as one hardrive?
J. R. Nelson
Answer: If you are using Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP then you can configure two harddrives to appear as one. You do this by configuring the drives as a stripeset using the Disk Administrator function while signed in as an administrator. The exact options to use depends on which Windows version you are using. As you need to be logged on and running the operating system when doing this you may not be able to reconfigure the system to include the operating system partition in the stripeset. What you may be able to do is to partition that drive so that the operating system partition only uses part of the drive and then the second partition could be included in the stripeset with the other drive.
It is not possible to make two drives appear as one with DOS or Windows 95/98/SE/ME.
