Updating Service Properties
Question: On the Run...services.msc, the PROPERTIES won't respond when I click on it. These files that run my computer are disengaged and would appreciate it if I could click on this PROPERTIES and get things right again. Is the fact that PROPERTIES isn't working a sign that some prerequisite file has been disengaged that makes my efforts useless? Is there any way to bypass and get the properties to drop its window once more and give me a choice to get things on automatic again?

Answer: The most likely cause is that the user account that you are logged on with does not have administrator access.
