Unwanted Services
Question: Whenever I startup Windows 2003 Server, I get a message that "At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to examine the evrnt log for details".
Examples of services which do not start:
- Probe Service - Event 7000
- .NET Framework Service - Event 7023
- Remote Access - Event 20106
I know these services do not start and I don't care. My System runs OK. How can I shut off this message at startup?

Answer: Go into the services option in the control panel using an administrator signon and disable those services so that it doesn't try to start them.
