Question: I have already created a zip file and want to copy it to floppy disk except that it wont fit. Is there any way to copy the existing zip file rather than creating a spanned zip file from scratch?
Answer: There is a simple solution to this, you create a self extracting EXE file from your zip file. This will convert the zip file into a spanned zip file.
To do this either go into the Make .EXE File option within the Actions menu or simply press Shift-K. This will start the process to create a self extracting EXE file from your ZIP file. Now all you need to do is select Safe Spanning Method and then select the drive letter of your floppy drive. A Spanned copy of your ZIP file will be created on floppy disk along with an EXE file on the first disk. You can access the spanned ZIP file directly just by ignoring the EXE file on the first disk.
