Question: What do you mean by attention key?

Answer: The attention key is used to interrupt the currently running process. REXX and CLIST can both test specifically for it being pressed. The key is usually marked ATTN on mainframe keyboards and is by itself at the top left of the keyboard PC keyboards usually label it ESC instead.
